CPS Capital was founded in 2013, and its mission was to build great businesses. They are one of Canada’s first search funds, which had a flexible business model that helped them acquire their first business, Windley Ely. Once they acquired this company, they grew its business considerably over the next several years.

When CPS Capital was operating Windley Ely, they met with many other entrepreneurs and operators. Due to this, they found many great opportunities which were overlooked by many established private equity firms. Their passion for working with small businesses and also tapping into the opportunities of plenty of small-scale opportunities has helped them a lot in all these years. That’s why they have built a firm that is dedicated to their unique approach to investing.
